3 Things I Like About Substack Notes
How Substack Notes are helping writers grow their subscribers.
It’s been one week and one day since Substack Notes went live.
In the last eight days, I’ve… Noted?…several times. I check it a few times daily and try to make several posts throughout the day.
There are three things I like about Substack Notes so far.
Switching Between Everyone and Subscribed.
I like scrolling through what everyone has posted, but sometimes I want to check and see what the writers I’m subscribed to have posted.
Substack Notes gives us the option to do both.
I’ve discovered several Substacks and subscribed to them just from being able to scroll through the home feed.
And that leads directly to the second thing I like about Substack Notes.
Increased Discoverability.
It’s easier than ever to get discovered on Substack thanks to Substack Notes - and some writers have experienced tremendous growth.

Now we can bounce ideas off each other in real time, and Substack can observe our thoughts and develop new tools and features to help us.
I think they call that a “win-win.”
I continue to be excited for the future of Substack!
Substack Notes is another way Substack pays attention to the writers and provides tools to help us grow.
Exciting times!
