Welcome to another weekend and another edition of The Weekend Review!
I hope you’ve had a good week!
Hopefully, this email is always good for a laugh (or at least a smile), a couple of good thoughts, and something to help you as you get ready to start a new week.
Laugh of the Week
It’s funny because it’s true.
Whenever we are struggling to write the words we want to say, even stringing together a few words or a couple of sentences can feel like a huge win.
Article of the Week
A great way for online writers to make money right now is through online courses.
shared 6 reasons why it’s smart for you to create an online course in 2023. She is speaking from experience - as she and her husband have a successful online course, as she explains more in this article.Video of the Week
I don’t like to promote my own stuff, but I think this video can be helpful to you. I walk you through the new ways you can edit the layout of your Substack. It’s a quick one - only 4 minutes long.
Quote of the Week
“The most valuable of all talents is that of never using two words when one will do.” ― Thomas Jefferson
Jameson, I must tell you that your “how-to” videos on the inner workings of Substack are incredibly helpful. For a low-tech girl like me, reading the instructions that Substack provides is not nearly as helpful as the videos you share. I hope you keep doing them because I always learn something new.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Yeah! Thanks so much for featuring my story. What a nice surprise. I'm pretty busy at the moment and I'm super happy that after 4(!) Weeks without a YT video, I'll share my next one on Monday/Tuesday... Finally. Online courses are a nice way to earn passive income especially when you're passionate about a specific topic or an expert in a specific field.
